Abstract

The research aims in its entirety to introduce the science of the graduation of prophetic hadiths, in order to show its importance, and its close relationship with the sources of the Sunnah and its books, through which we can determine the whereabouts of the hadiths from the original sources of the Sunnah, and attribute them to those who produced them, and to indicate the degree of these hadiths and distinguish the correct ones from the weak. The researcher extrapolated the texts of the scholars in their books that dealt with the topic of graduation, and then analyzed them in order to determine a scientific concept for graduation, and the methods of scientists in the graduation of hadiths through: Introducing the science of graduation in the language and in the terminology of applicants and contemporaries, its history, its benefits and the most important literature in it, and the statement of the approaches of the modernists in graduation and attribution. With the judgment of hadith, by offering the attribution to be graduated, studying its narratives, verifying the connection of the bond and not interrupting it, and also verifying the validity of the hadith from anomalies, and the reasoning.
