Apresiasi Keilmuan Tuan Husin Kedah Terhadap Perkembangan Ilmu Hadis di Tanah Melayu
Abstract
Tuan Husain Kedah, whose full name is Shaykh Husain Nasir Bin Muhammad Tayyib al-Mascudi al-Banjari, is one of the most respected scholars throughout Tanah Melayu and not only in Kedah. This article will discuss the intelligence of Tuan Husain Kedah, a respected scholar who contributed to the growth of Islamic studies in Tanah Melayu. The main objective of the discussion is to trace the evolution of Tuan Husain Kedah's studies and how they shaped his academic quality. By examining the genealogy of this study, it can be shown that Tuan Husain Kedah inherited his knowledge from his teachers in a field of expertise, including the area of hadis. Indirectly, this debate will describe the context of his life, including education, mentors, students, thoughts, and his contribution to the world, as well as the legacy he left behind as a natural treasure of the archipelago
